At Powin Energy, he served as Head of Analytics and interim CTO, building the company's data and analytics capabilities while working directly with engineering, field operations, and product teams to solve real-world performance, availability, and integration challenges across hundreds of megawatts of deployed assets.

Michael brings expertise across the full battery storage technology stack - from cell chemistry and BMS/EMS architecture to PCS integration, thermal management, and controls optimization. He combines this technical depth with strong fundamentals in U.S. power markets, including price forecasting, dispatch optimization, and the regulatory drivers that shape storage asset returns.
